Overview

Nepal eNotes provides educational notes, questions, articles, documents, images and other study resources. Some materials may be created by Nepal eNotes, while others may be submitted, licensed, referenced or made available by contributors and third parties.

We respect the rights of authors, teachers, publishers, photographers, designers and other copyright owners. When we receive a complete and credible copyright complaint, we may investigate the report and remove or restrict access to the disputed material where appropriate.

This policy is intended to provide a practical notice-and-takedown procedure. It does not constitute legal advice or an admission that every provision of United States copyright law applies to every Nepal eNotes activity.

Submitting a Copyright Complaint

A copyright owner, or a person authorized to act on the owner’s behalf, may send a written complaint to:

Information Required in a Copyright Notice

To help us review your complaint efficiently, include the following information:

1. Your signature

   A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

2. Identification of the copyrighted work

   Clearly describe the original work that you believe has been infringed. When several works are involved, provide a representative list.

3. Identification of the disputed material

   Identify the specific content you believe is infringing and provide the exact Nepal eNotes page URL where it appears.

4. Your contact information

   Provide your full name, mailing address, telephone number and email address.

5. Good-faith statement

   Include a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.

6. Accuracy and authority statement

   State, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner.

How We Review Complaints

After receiving a copyright complaint, Nepal eNotes may:

• Confirm that the notice contains the required information
• Request clarification or additional evidence from the complainant
• Review the disputed material and its source
• Contact the person who submitted, supplied or published the material
• Temporarily restrict access while the complaint is reviewed
• Remove or disable access to material when appropriate
• Reject incomplete, unsupported, misleading or abusive complaints

We aim to respond within a reasonable period, but review time may vary depending on the complexity of the report, available evidence and the number of materials involved.

Counter-Notification

A person whose content has been removed or restricted may send a counter-notification when they believe the action resulted from a mistake or misidentification.

A counter-notification should include:

• The sender’s physical or electronic signature
• Identification of the removed material and the location where it appeared before removal
• A statement under penalty of perjury that the sender has a good-faith belief that the material was removed because of a mistake or misidentification
• The sender’s full name, mailing address, telephone number and email address
• Where legally applicable, the jurisdiction and service-of- process statements required by Section 512(g) of United States copyright law
• Any licence, permission, ownership evidence or other material supporting restoration

Restoration of Content

When a valid counter-notification is received, Nepal eNotes may provide it to the original complainant and review whether the disputed material should be restored.

Where the formal United States DMCA process applies, removed material may be restored after the legally required waiting period unless the original complainant informs us that court proceedings have been started.

Nepal eNotes may continue withholding material when separate legal, safety, quality, contractual or website-policy concerns justify doing so.

Repeat Copyright Infringement

Nepal eNotes may restrict or terminate access for contributors, users or accounts that repeatedly submit material infringing the rights of others.

Depending on the circumstances, we may:

• Issue a warning
• Remove individual submissions
• Disable contribution or commenting privileges
• Suspend or terminate an account
• Block further submissions from a source

We may also take action against users who repeatedly submit false, abusive or bad-faith copyright complaints.

False or Misleading Claims

Copyright complaints and counter-notifications are serious legal communications. Do not knowingly submit false information or misrepresent that material is infringing or was removed by mistake.

A person who knowingly makes a material misrepresentation may be responsible for resulting damages, costs or legal consequences under applicable law.

Nepal eNotes may reject complaints used to harass users, suppress lawful criticism, interfere with competition or remove material that the complainant does not own.

Third-Party Websites and Content

Nepal eNotes may link to or embed material from external websites, educational platforms, video services, social networks and file providers.

When disputed material is hosted by another service, the copyright owner may need to contact that service directly. Nepal eNotes cannot remove content from websites or platforms that it does not operate.

A link or embed does not mean that Nepal eNotes owns or controls the external material.
